4:02 pm - Riddle #2

Silent, still serene: I am the Mass of joy and proof

The journal at the foot of Ron's bed is obviously old, made of leather and flaking gilt. There were once runes scrawled across the front corners, but they have long since been worn away to almost nothing. Upon opening the journal, Ron sees blank pages. Then, as he watches, gold script begins to scroll across in an almost painstakingly slow hand.

Welcome between. Choose your enemies wisely. Choose your allies with yet more care. The Game is simple: make it to the end and claim your prize, or founder and fail.

There are things much more terrifying than Death, young Weasley. Things much more lasting.

These journals will aid you; they will be your guides and companions. Everything is significant. Every thought, every feeling, every creeping chill shivering across your spine holds the greatest import. Nothing is insignificant.

You will discover the rules as you go. You will receive clues to guide you.

.... look behind you
